Having never received cards for this special occasion, I complained after 14 years, and received a "Valentine From a Friend" from my husband. (now ex)
It touched my heart but for a moment;
Then joy turned into tears.
How could he think us only friends,
Or was he shy?
I know not why.
I thought awhile,
Then joy returned.
My heart filled to the brim.
Oh love, it is a wondrous thing;
It never dies,
Or are these lies?

In reading this poem "Valentine From A Friend" mades me think about my life married to my husband, Ted. My feelings? Knowing that "My Friend" is my "Love," my "Husband!" No better friend to have!
