Time and memories

Winding through time

Memories like twisted vine

wrapped around stately trees

A quiet interlude among a wooded trail

keeps my sure footed soul upright

Glimmering sun beams from a forever sky

Casting its shadow on the forest floor

Reminding me of my immortality.
