This is what happens when you get hit by a cold rush of air written by TA, age 12. She loves to write poetry.

I feel of the cold
I feel a cold rush of air past by me
I shiver in my skin I walk,
I walk in the cold all alone the coldness of the wind blows
I shiver in my skin
The wind howls
my body numb no feeling inside of me
I am cold but I walk on
I shiver in my skin
I feel so cold
so alone
so scared to be alone
to give to be with someone
I long to be warm
I shiver in my skin
the cold rush of air brushes against me
I shiver
I shiver
I shiver
oh how I long to be warm
to be held tight
in the warmth of the night
the cold rush of air passes by me
My body longs for the warmth
I can suffer no more
I will rest
till I am no more
till my body is gone
buried in snow
the cold rush of air brushes against me
I am weak
I am no longer strong
my body weakens every step along the way.
I fall to the ground
A cold rush of air brushes against me

This is so good because it speaks to my soul and I can relate to the meaning and emotions within the verses. T.A. is lucky to have you as a tutor, Celeste. Thank you for sharing this. Love and peace. Regis

I am not moved to shivering in my skin very often but this young lady has succeeded in taking me there.
To me this poem is not about what it says but what it's about what it doesn't say.
It is a beautiful enigmatic work.
Please TA, do not allow your talent to be hidden away.

Lovely poem. I first started writing poetry when I was 12. We were assigned to collect a group of poems into something like a chapbook. I found I liked doing it and still am doing it at age 32. Let TA read and write more poetry. It will enrich her life as it has mine.
