Recollecting on the emptiness a man can feel at times when there has not been a father in the house.
In these times of life I now see the importance of a father in the lives of men.
Turmoil and lack of answers that leave one feeling crazy and disconnected.
Simple things that you know have an answer yet you don’t. In my life this day I find this to be true .
I feel as though I have been upon a long beautiful drive enjoying the scenery marveling at the condition of life.
I come upon a curve, a blind curve deep and exciting waiting in anticipation of what is beyond it.
As I exit I slam upon the brakes my mind in a stupor. There is nothing there, Oh the beautiful scenery still catches my attention.
It is the condition of the road, there are many branches unfinished, I can see the work being done. But they end in empty space.
I sit pondering this mess what do I do, Who do I talk to about it something has to be done.
I see the holes in my life now, answers I don’t have with questions I can not ask.
How do you address something that isn’t there but it is, My first thought is to pray.
I see situations that are apt to destroy me, I without the knowledge of experience could be abused for I know not the purpose of this in my life.
I turn to the only one who can help me the Creator of this thing, this happening in my life.
At this particular moment I am out alone, no cell phone and not a telephone booth in sight. I turn to what I know, Who I know.
God has been a father to me especially when I come upon these times when I draw a blank in thought and life.
At these times I a find myself helpless, I truly have no clue as to what to do. I see the need for mentoring, The need to draw young me to us.
If I can be unsettled by the conditions of my past can they not feel this in their future. Who will stand beside them.
For me I must be available when the call arises, It is my Godly duty. In my prayer I ask him what must I do.
Speak to the situation and I will help you is His answer.
Beautiful!
How vivid you have expressed this Truth!

Enjoyed this wonderful poem-parable on how we can, through empowerment, turn the wounds in our own lives into strength, hope, and knowledge in the lives of others. Thank you for sharing the wisdom of your words.
