Lush and golden green
The morning dusk light,
With a honey dew fog,
Like bare breasts inviting for a nibble,
Golden turned leaves,
Covering their charm,
Just barely,
Shall I, should I, only with mine eyes?
My soul unfulfilled, its yearning,
Begging my heart to feast,
On their innocence of life,
Virgins unblemished,
Their golden nectar,
Ripened of age now,
I reminisce and toast,
To turn a golden ember,
Burning still, a yearning past,
To cry a tear, while I remember,
It was the morning’s last reprieve,
No other will there be alike,
Holding hands so tender,
A stolen kiss, and then another,
Of secrets dark her eyes,
Of secrets dark my yearning,
Folded in her bosom bare,
A goddess of beauty,
Would ever I,
Be worthy of her love,
Would ever I,
Another tear I cry,
Another day, I sigh,.©31/01/2013
