Masters & Minions
All enter seeking solace, dreams’ final fulfillment.
They enter full of hope that life’s dues will be met.
Yet at Gate’s threshold they stop dumbfounded,
seeking deepest shadows to hide their presence there…
For now they have to face, a sorely different mystery.
Some will sprout wings, woven of silken glory.
Others that will abide where darkness must prevail,
Will grow horns and tail. But . . . that’s another story.
I agree with Karen but I like to add that what ever we do in life we must shear our life with others in ways that we can do things for others and not be shy to show our face that is full of love and grace that is what we came here for.
