My childhood memories of you
are yesterday.
Yet, I feel your sweet
tender kisses on my lips.
I remember my first Christmas gift,
and I even remember the day
that I broke your heart.
I often think about you, but...
now the roles are totally opposites,
Here you are doing all the grown-up things rightly,
while my world is missing you-slightly.
I say slightly, but you mean
the world to me...
But back then, I was too grown to see.
Now I see that
Six months younger in age
Doesn't make a great difference.
I wanted to be grown before my time,
now I am grown and all alone.
I lost the one love I truly had.
Now that you are grown,
I realize the mistakes I've made.
Unity for us, I just couldn't see,
and for that
our love will never be.
