Miles to Nowhere

A poem based on the bouts of loneliness we all sometimes feel.

Miles to nowhere surround me like yesterday’s rainy day

Rain drops falling endlessly, kissing forever and a day with no end

Tears of pain stained on my expression, mournful over those I miss

Lonely throughout life, I shall die alone

I fear not, expecting this

Tears falling... questioning as to why

Love and lessons from my two innocent hearts of womb

Alone I am thankful

My heart overflowed upon their births, dawning comprehension and feeling of true love settled in

Flowing through my veins... my heart... my soul... fore I can not breathe without their living spirits in my world.

Running on empty, I can give no more than I am capable of

High expectations... my giving one hundred and ten percent

A mother’s job, like no other, my life’s challenge

Money — never a pence in my purse

Miles to nowhere surround me like tomorrow’s rainy day

A poem wrote from someones soul trapped inside an unending thornbushes landscape.
Solitude is the mother of menacing silences, of cruel shadows, of missing, until one, suddenly, finds that sholder where to rest the head and let tears fall freely, warm, even with a taste of gratitude.
Miles to nowhere is a kind of that unending journey of the "traveler".

Always here
Georg

This is so poetic a write and a lovely one. I feel the actress in you coming out in this one, a great act that will be hard to follow. Being a mother is the greatest act on earth, I at least think so. Blessings to you and a happier future too. God does love you so.
