I thought it was a believable poem for a ten year old. I'm not a critic and never will be but if I were a teacher in an English Literature Class you would definitely not get an F. Blessings Always, Paul.
Thanks for your opinion David. Obviously you didn't know me at 10 or the environment I was raised in. Only then would you understand why I very clearly knew the concept of wanting and dreaming. You are right with most of your other accusations--probably written quickly (maybe when I was hiding in the chicken coup), no idea about construction, it is repetitive and some of the other things you said. Although at 10, I wasn't very demanding -- too intimidated for that. So if you were my teacher and I was 10 would I get an F in poetry?
