I had been thinking of this poem for weeks. I finally wrote it when inspiration hit me at the cafe in Dallas. I live almost 2 hours from there! The feeling comes in the weirdest places!(laughter)
This poem is dedicated and about Dr. Bernie S. Siegel. He saved my life with his response and love way back in 1992. I have known of him since 1990. Next year will be 20 years! Where does the time go?
It took you
It took you to un-weave my madness.
It took you to make me see my own faults.
It took you to give me a 'boost'!
It took you and your unconditional love,
to make me 'whole', again.

Wonderful tribute, Becca...I too have someone special that I honored in a poem by the name of the same title a few poems back...it's a good feeling, isn't it, when someone can have that kind of an effect on us and totally move us to another level.
