A Spell of Death
 

Be still my thoughts
 

Lie sleepy mid the graves of empty dreams
 

Hold fast my darkling spirit
 

Spit acid poison into times’ mysterious streams
 

Freeze the glint of eye and tear
 

Murder every photon piercing night
 

Kill the beating of all hearts
 

Bathe the world in stillborn, rattling fear
 

Of frozen solitude make all their days anew
 

Distill the gall of death’s unliving spark
 

Wake humankind to blindness and to fear
 

Kill the light with spells all woven of the dark
 

Sow death among the fields of corn
 

Sow hatred where there once was love
 

In pain shall all repent they’re born
 

As bloodied, from the sky careers God's murdered dove
 

And every child shall spit into its parents’ eyes
 

And every man a murderer be
 

The darkness of the human heart
 

Shall raise its monument to me
 

Oh! Spin and whirl great deathly vertigo of hell
 

And thunder silent bells, as life retreats
 

And shadow spirits wonder through all minds
 

Now hush! Your hearts no longer beat.
