No redemption

He knows his fractured death,

Lies so very near indeed.

He keens to carry on, blinded

By the shadow of his bleed.

Glitter hangs in shreds

Once he stood, man-seed,

Now he crumples, falls

Curled now in fetal need

That falls to fatal curl

This is so sad. But it is true. We hang on to the end, as we watch it all fall about. Good write, RD. It left me speechless. I guess this is one I'll read again, and again.
