I feel the need to touch the deepest part of my soul, to find meaning in this life and feel the intensity of my own existence.
Yet imbedded in this wasteland inhabited by mankind I sense an underlying fear. A fear of myself and my death which brings forth an inability to experience life.
I clothe all that I am in a vale of civility and imagine it safe to walk among my peers, but the truth will not be hidden away. The cloth is thin; the truth is felt by those senses which are linked to that which I am...I am a victim of those things which lie inside myself.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
Excellent "ME " reflections.
