I used a pneumatic hammer
to scrape your name
from my mind,
from my heart.
But my work was vain.
The memory of you
pierces
In the armour of my heart
like an oxyhydrogen flame,
exciting the short circuit
of a terrific passion.
Enlarged by time
love is growing
like stormy wind.
I long for your kisses,
your smooth body,
on the bright sands
beyond the stormy skies.
Different poem than I ever read on the den. Some things just cannot work out and that is for the best. I give you ten stars for this anyway. Liked it***********. God Bless you and take care.
