The chill you get for no reason at all,
That's Momma smoothing your hair.
The brush on your face when no one's around?
Momma's kiss on your cheek, so dear.
When you feel a warmth come over you
With no one else in sight;
That's Momma's arms surrounding you
And holding you so tight.
That penny you find just lying there
When you feel so down and blue;
Is Momma saying, "I'm always here,
And watching over you!"
That smile you feel deep in your heart
When nothing's been said or done,
That's Momma whispering in your ear,
"I love you, precious one!"
We lost Mom on Jan. 29, 2001. I wrote this in memory of her.

What can I say? You know this is beautiful. I know because it came from your heart. Your mom is so proud of you!
