Has it been a whole year,
Since that horrible day
When loved ones so dear
Were taken away?
The pain is so new,
Our memories so clear
It’s just unbelievable
That it’s been a whole year.
Our tears still fall freely,
We tremble with fear,
I just cannot fathom
It’s been a whole year.
Please, God bless the heros,
Our loved ones so dear
Who were taken to meet You
On this same day, last year.

Debbie, thanks so much for remembering this day. It will never die so long as our society exists. Such a tragic day. I was watching tv when it happened and saw it all. I feel that we have a right to protect ourselves. That is what our government did in Afghanistan and what it will do in Iraq. God bless America. God
