No one knows what another person is carrying in their heart, they can imagine, they can relate, but they can never truly know....

In the dark in the full light of day

disease ridden in the guise of health

screaming silently to deaf ears

dismissing revelance as mere inconvenience

no hearing a word that's said

listening to be polite

because if it doesn't effect you

then it's not real

just an exagerration of runaway imagination

no actual merit in the fear

pain self-inflicted

taking life too seriously

if it's not within the five senses

it doesn't count

so take the virtual knife

and stab it in the virtual heart

the virtual makes it okay

there's no law of decency

in land unseen

no boundaries

no holds barred

after all it's only make believe

like the make believe tears

she cries everytime she's reminded

that what's most important

is what can't be seen

but felt by walking in her shoes -

even in silence

voices carry.

Oh God ...

I am inundated with so much of what I hate about virtual relationship. What has happened to us as a species? What has happened to looking in anothers eyes; touching them; kissing their cheeks; laughing and crying in the same space; embracing in friendship or ....

How I long to feel anothers spirit and smell their humanness. The internet is an emotional travesty.

It is true, most people do not really listen or hear what is being said to them by an anguished heart, some do though and the reaching out is always special and appreciated or should be.
