Some people hate it when others are happy, and they have to do things meant to harm or hurt. For those who live off trying to cause trouble, harm others, and create suggestions to serve their motives no matter who gets hurt along the way....

We must be quite impressive to illicit all this attention -
Tabloid tongues wagging.
Gossipy fish wives spreading their own brand
Of cream cheese on half baked bagels.
Fools dressed as wise men spray painting
Graffiti all over the place,
Hoping that the toxic fumes will
Wilt the flowers blooming in
Our garden,
Taking talent that could be used
To bring joy and prosperity to try and crack
The foundation that just won’t
Give in.

Tell the tales
That exist only in virtual reality,
For here in the real world
We know what we know.
We know that we have a home
Built on a rock,
The sweet, sweet rock,
That together we quarried
One day at a time,
Together right here,
Next to each other,
In the real world.

I can’t blame them
For trying.
Can’t blame them
For wishing.
What lonely being
Without a real life
Doesn't paint portraits of illusion?
A more palatable self-made truth
Compared with the reality
Of their soul's squalor.
Knowing that like the sun and the moon
We rise and fall with each other
Here in the real world.

So blow on hot air across the west.
Storm on frozen breath from the north.
Southern breeze burn wildly.
East coast bluster your gale warnings.
This house will stand long after
You run out of breath,
Long after you're forgotten and gone.

Do what you feel makes you feel better,
Take your mind altering fantasies
One by one
Until you’re satisfied and
Over-done.

Ignore the prescription
And enjoy your overdose,
Enjoy being the jester in our court,
Your ramblings are quite amusing
And we never tire of a good old joke.

Keep making something out of nothing,
Nothing is all you’ll ever know.
Nothing tangible.
Nothing real,
Like the way she feels
In my arms.
The way her lips press tenderly
Against mine.
The smell of her in the morning.
The way it feels to walk side by side,
Ignoring all the trash spewed across the lawn,
Ignoring all the dirty talk behind closed doors,
Ignoring all the crude scribbling left on the walls,
Just looking forward to another day
With each other
Here in the real world.

The big bad wolf can
Huff, and puff and blow,
This house ain’t folding.
It ain’t falling down.
If nothing else,
It simply gets stronger
Every time your kind come around.

‘Cause while in the minds of madmen
We are whatever others wish us to be,
We are each other’s,
There’s nothing more to see.
And even a deaf, dumb and blind man
Knows the truth of
what we feel, taste, hear, touch, smell and see
Face to face every day and night of lives,
Here in reality.

A beautiful write although sad for the purpose it was written. People can be hurtful and hateful and mostly it comes down to jealous emotions being turned into childish anger. Are only protection is to hold on to what we have and keep loving.
