Until the day comes when I am no more, I will write of the woman who shares her life with me and rules my heart, who also gives me no less than we both deserve.

she comes out of a dream,

the fairy queen

from a magical realm that

the rest of us mere mortals

have never seen -

we only dream.

she's a living legend,

a sculptured beauty that

so many wish for,

hope for,

but usually never get more

than a glimpse or

a lucky opportunity

just to be in the same place.

to have seen what she has seen,

to know what she has known,

to have loved how she has loved,

to be the object of her desire,

to be the fortunate recipient

of a passion so complete

that the mere thought of

actually being the

the object of affection

brings nights filled

with fantasies before

unimagined -

mere tribute

to this masterpiece

of erotic fascination.

and with equal skill

she presses virtual

paper to quill,

linguistically seducing

the mind,

where is born all things

that bring pleasure.

there is nothing as intoxicating

as her presence on the page,

in the mind,

on the body,

imprinting knowledge

that can only be imagined

by mere mortals such as i,

who lived in dreams

and fantasy worlds

until the day

fantasy became reality

at my life's door

and you gave me your love

forever more

in a way more passionate

and honest, sincere, and gentle,

loving and adoring

than i could have ever imagined.

fantasy has so often ruled my life,

pushing me towards a fairie tale

ending, but you came and showed

me the light, fan-tasy is so much

better when its real-ity,

sitting right in front of you,

looking into your eyes,

sharing the same aire

and with a kiss,

sharing the soul in ways

no artist, regardless of talent,

could ever capture on a page.

we are each other's canvass,

and yes, i am up for fresh paint....
