i watched Her from my chair,
the majestic flow of Her body
parting the air before Her,
sensuously silent like
a ship in the clear
blue carribean sea.

sea green crystals brightly beam
as the warmth of the sun breaks
the horizon of lips in silken hues,
smile melting the morning frost
while romantics such as i
drink in the ambrosia,
turn it into ink for a pen.

pen on paper, recycled tree,
upon which i carve your letters,
ode to a Christmas Queen,
gift to all those around Her,
firing the embers of my heart
into flames of passion,
visionary embrace,
a kiss upon my mind
to last through a hundred lifetimes,
gentle breeze blowing between
the scent of cedar and cinnamon rising.

rising from my seat,
i dare to cross the floor,
to be near the woman
whom i worship and adore,
bringing most humbly
my love before Her
to slowly savor as the
refreshing sip of heat
on a winter's day,
lay myself before Her
to take with loving grace
and tenderness,
handle with great care,
no need for anything
but time to know
that love is in the touch
of the artist who like the potter
shapes in patience and soul
bearing the pleasure of the process,
only challenge is in the wait,
no rush delivery,
for i want to know you,
and i want you to know me.

all the rest is ecstasy.
