What is love?

I started this intending to write about how difficult it is to write about love.

What is love?

Is it finding that longtime friend?

Is it an ultimate trust?

How do you put it into words?

I’d say it is a happiness-

One that never lets you down.

Like you’ve finally found your wings

And taken off the ground.

This happiness brings tears to eyes.

It makes you laugh and at the same time cry.

Everyday you wake and you see their face,

You thank the gods you’re in this place.

Once I thought it difficult

To put into words how all this felt

But when I see his face and feel his touch

It is definitely not as tough

To tell the world what he has done

He’s taken me and helped me from

My loneliness and being lost

He’s held me and shown me that no matter what the cost

He will be there beside me for all of our eternity.

This was meant to comfort others

To tell them not to worry, it’s hard to write about love

And what I’ve found is this:

That after every single kiss I’m given inspiration

I’m shown it’s not so difficult to tell them all how it felt

When he came into my life and decided he would stay.

Every night I lie down and I think about that day.

I find that all I have to do is sit here and continue

To write completely through the night

Knowing that it can be done, it might just take a while

That it would take eternity to tell them what he means to me.

So I’ll keep on being loved and writing.

And maybe with that inspiration and a lot of dedication

I can give them all a hint on what it means to be in love

You are quite a romantic girl. Love means so much to you and you have expressed it here. Everlasting love is to be admired and should be had by everyone at the right time. Your writes are so sentimental and coming from a young person amazingly so good.

I wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away
I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away
I wrote your name in my heart, and forever it will say.

Hi lady!!!
Wouw!! No words to express that feeling better. I don't really know what love means...I have only tasted it with the very beginning of my tongue...
YOu know I love the way you write...don't ever stop!
Olaya...or your spaniard girl...

Love has many facets - like a brillant diamond. It doesn't matter which way you turn, it still sparkles.

A loving portrayal of love to your love,
Kathy

What is love? Simple. Love is fickle . . . Big time . . . Nice poetry, but love is what you make of it and in the modern world fickle seems to fit more than any other thing I can think of . . . Love is also selfish . . . There are as many bad traits to love as there is to good one . . . Me? I'm in love, and have been for quite a long time, but then I have been in love before . . . Fickle, thass whot I'm talkin' 'bout . . .
