To you O God I lift up my soul
To one whose love for me endures
from east to west
to eternity unending

How could one not notice
a passage of time
immortal

To fulfill the void
of life unending
A rose given of feeling
that dedication, love, and esteem

I have nothing yet have everything
all I need to give
For 3 years of life spared from death

At least 10 instances I could have died
or felt injury not to be had
but should I believe in the hands of time
can endure the love and lives lost
or is it...?

Never forget or forget to remember
what we have done and not completed
To resume forward to the time
unforgotten and settled

May I finally grasp the memory of you
and hold tight to settle
for the test of time

of patience...

of understanding...

of slower longer embraces

and a warm kiss

to seal it all now for it held in eternity
and the flower given as
a lasting memory

May I keep this moment held forever
Now and then...
