Now downs the winding days
Of nights glowing with snow
From soft lights in windows stay
Gatherings of people here to pray
The days go by quickly now
Like frozen ice melted by sun
Still to remind 365 days are nearly gone
Winter, spring, summer, and fall
Perfect in timing, with signs for all
Composedly full of sojourns
Stories to tell, remembrance and mourning
As we reflect in the morning
Like palaces of grace
I make my way in a place
Where there is no stopping
For those who wait changeless
We pause, frozen in thought
Oh, more time, more time, I sought
Save in the galleries of dreaming
Come hushed thoughts caught
The sudden end of time
Approaches us to hold
For things undone in yesterdays
Are now in the new 365 days of gold...
