Do you ever feel like
Your mind needs to breathe
Downloading
Uploading
Trying to retrieve
Sorted amounts of data
That you just can’t withstand
Compiling
Juggling
Decoding
I’m sure that you understand
Our daily living is so compact
So full from day to day
Packing and unpacking
Barely meeting the minimum
Not getting all the quantifiable results
I am dismayed
My mind needs to breathe
To release all the undue stress
That life brings in a day
Between the war in Iraq
And the war here at home
We are all overloaded at some point
Dissecting the love and hate
For our fellow Americans
Bring the troops home
We say
Send the troops home
They say
To let our minds breathe
From all this bureaucracy
Let alone having no democracy
Let us bee
Free
Able to roam across the land
Without a care in the world
Living life to a full potential
Without having the world on our shoulders
Let your mind breathe
So that you will hear the voice of victory
Hear that our Savior is returning
