Monsters No Longer Hide In Closets
© 2007 by April Sims
My heart aches for them
Breaks for them
My knees shake for them
My feet quake for them
I want to protect them all
But I don’t know who they are
The ones that go home at night
To monsters outside their closets
And monsters that do not hide under their bed
The ones who at tender ages
Hold horrible secrets
Being beat on their feet
And touched in discrete . . . places
I look in their innocent faces every day
And don’t have a clue that it is them
The ones that close their doors at night
The ones that have to face them
The ones that are mistreated
In their house that should be called homes
The ones that feel so all alone
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! <
My cure for child molesters? Cut off their private parts, and arms and legs. When someone does this to an innocent, they cease to be human in my eyes. Tragic: continue to speak out against this horror, my voice joins with yours of 'NO MORE!'
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
