salt left on sand
ocean dreaming
returning to the sea
where freedom
not just an urge
western wind blows
warm
sitting on a stone
counting
as a wind breaks
waves
a blind man
believes in sight
young woman strong
a whisper within a song
in thought
sunlight reflects
water walking reason
sunset wave revisions
call to the moment
a girl child is born
a woman in her season
breaking free
Such a fine poem about the state of things, W. jude!! I especially enjoyed your metaphors, w. jude!! Your poetry is so interesting and I come back to read it over and over. I "see" something new each time I do. Thank you, Poet!!
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
and observations that are conjured up by a
sea full of mysteries.

Love ya!
