where walks
the wandering mind
they spoke my English
as I translated
their sweet poetry
just blind poets
painting patterns
as if they could see
patterns lost
cohesive ideas

where dare meet

I find it interesting that depending on how WE see life
the poets words can be so meaningfully different
for each reader…
I also love the idea of words painting patterns to reflect
images…and conversely a picture can paint a thousand words…

A poem that made me ponder…

It is remarkable how many readers are blind to the words that poets write. It is all in the language. Why sometimes the greatest poems are in very simple, universally understood, words. But words can paint "patterns" like images in the mind if the poet is skillful enough.

The English languages "messy" enough to probably make it the most misunderstood language in the world, while the most used.
