seeing your shadow

final defeat
feet walking with
no retreat
Meaningful for many. But for me, I can't remember the last time I walked down a lonely wet nighttime street. It was a long time ago when I was young. Growing older means staying away from places like that. Staying warm and dry in the light of a room or rooms.
