I have been in a raging war
I have been wounded
Critical, but not fatal.
The spear has grazed my wings
But clipped they are not.
I will rise up to fly again—
Watch my strength unfold
Like the wings of a falcon
From the treetops.
Feel the awe of strength
As I glide into flight.
From an advantage will I observe
The battle warring down below.
Every day souls will be lost
But some will be found
For these—it will not have been in vain,
For one soul pulled out of the rubbish
Is like a soul of gold.
It will be offered the ultimate salvation
In exchange for the ultimate sacrifice.
Let the heavens rejoice
With resounding noise
For the one that is to be saved.
I will draw the Saber of Truth
To dispel all the lies.
On one side of the gleaming blade
There is Love
To flatten all the hate and hurt inside
So that hearts can feel the nearness of angels
On the other, there is Hope
To flatten all the fears and anger inside
So that souls will desire the nearness of God.
I have been in a raging war
I have been wounded
Critical, but not fatal.
My wings will I unfold,
My saber will I draw,
My flight will I soar
Until I stand by your side
Signed,
The Archangel
