I feel the excitement growing daily,

Since that day you did announce,

That soon you’ll have another baby

Another one, on my lap, to bounce.

It brings back such fond memories

Of after our precious Che was conceived.

And all the priceless moments

In those nine years I’ve received.

I think of the joy he has brought to my life.

Since him, the world has been so good.

And I know he/she would make it even better

As only another baby could.

I can’t seem to concentrate now

On anything but this precious little soul,

Who already has me thinking of the times

When on the beach we will stroll.

So now I will patiently await your birth,

With dream of holding you in my arms.

My heart you have already captured

With your beautiful unborn charms.
