Anne's Gift

Inspiration through Osmosis

Laugh at yourself

never at the expense of others

Dream with the stars

and beyond

Find humor in everyday places

despite how others perceive it

Grit your teeth when you must

rather than complain

Rely on your internal strength

versus on others

Be who you are

not what others expect of you

Teach not with words

but through your actions

You never told me any of this

but yet I somehow know

And God grant me the ability

to pass this wisdom through Osmosis

Onto my own
