when what is why

"Why?" is the most useless question in the universe. The only question with any meaning is "What?"

Asking "Why is this happening?" can only disempower you. Asking "What do I want to make of this?" does exactly the opposite.

Neale Donald Walsch

why is it

this planet is so amazing, gorgeous, exploring

breathless moments

effortless blended into well patterned

events

enjoyed, celebrated, experienced

and when

concerned by observance

unbalanced by awareness, questions arise

why is it directed this way?

this planet is filled with confusion

pollution, population reduction, disillusion,

sadness and grief

to eat, breathe, live

while the food upon the land, streams cross the sky

foam upon the rivers say they are interrupted in delicately

       balancing what they know

perhaps it is not to question... why is this

but to be... what is there

It's hard to question when the handwriting is on the wall. There are signs of trouble everywhere that need to be remedied quickly or the human population is in for a big surprise.

I've long believed that "why not?" is more thought provoking than "why?" But you have asked the far more important question. Well done!

Not a question to ask before I have had my first cup of coffee, but a profound slice of writing, none the less.
Cheers, 'whys?' because that is what I wish!
