At a Bus Stop in the Rain
Shed my skin
In an attempt to escape
This life in which I find myself.
Left it lying there,

by the bus stand,
near the corner of the street
where once I lived.
People driving by
never seeing
what's left of a life
best forgotten.
The old lady
with her dog
