It seems so lately, At the groc'ry store. Food's so diff'rent; Not like before. Basics are hidden, On the back row. All these new foods, They're stealing the show. A real pork ham, Just isn't good enough. Now ham is turkey, Such dry, tasteless stuff. Rabbits must be starving; We've taken all their food. Is salad good for us, 'Cause it tastes so crude? Where has taste gone? Diet foods have none. Will they ban my steak, Before they're good and done? I crave a little fat, To flavor up my beef; I need a juicy steak, To exercise my teeth. Then there's diet dessert- Now that's a scary thought. I ate a big old piece, And flavor vainly sought. Sugar is a demon; We've got it on the run. Let's exorcise all food, The battle has begun. Now we have it all, Lo-cal and the diet. Can they save our hearts, And make us eat what's "right"? Will I live so long- Do without the taste? Will I be really healthy- But count it all a waste? 4.28.93 Copyright 2007
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Bring back the good ole stuff. All the food additives do not enhance the taste - they only hasten us towards our deaths (it's a conspiracy shhhhhhhhhh LOL). Well done!
WARNING: This food contains artificial this and that and my cause death in laboratory rats. But, you humans go ahead and eat this crap, the world is over-populated.
So sad, but too clever. I truly enjoyed this.
