My week is done, two hundred miles

Still keep me from our door,

And every time that I come home

Again I'll have to fly.

I'll pack my bag with thoughts of you

But as I pack I'll cry

You cry at night and curse my job

When we must bid adieu.

 

Just know that you are with me now

These last two hundred miles,

Just like you’re with me every day

With visions of your smiles.

 

My thoughts of you will give me peace

Each day that I’m away,

Until the day this job is through
