I have some amazing photos I captured
on my Sundance Road Trip traveling to & throughout New York
at the end of June into July which I will be posting & sharing...
This photo here is when I was looking of course for hidden grave yards.
I ran into this pack of Does which had at least 12 members.
This one looked directly into my eyes it was the most utterly awesome thing!!
I have never been this close to a live (wild) Doe short of having a meal.
As everyone knows I love wild game over store bought slaughter houses
so I always see a meal even in the glorious beauty offering...but this moment with her
makes me really want to be a vegitarian :)
Stone Valleys
When distance resides as heavy burdens
And the scope of life fades further away
Stop within the silences of your soul’s quietude
And listen to the peering stillness…come what may…
It is here you will see with your descrying heart
The priceless offerings of love’s fertile bouquet
Through stone valleys and beauteous canyons
embodied within your soul…come what may
Vickie, this work is soothing to the soul. It carries a message of hope and a quiet internal peace. May you always travel the paths where joy, peace and love abide my dear friend. Jon Michael

Oh I didn't hurt her at all...
after this picture I slowly moved
my camera away from my face and then
her & I just looked at each other
it was so unbelievably awesome!!
Souls looking at each other, connecting as one, how could you hurt such beauty, the thought eminating with love. What introspective what deep long distance, and time you've experienced in this moment, what a blessing. Love and Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Excellent write Vickie and beautiful pic, as I just took photos of three Does playing with the swings in my son's back yard in Victoria, BC when we were up.
A lovely write, Vickie. I've had the pleasure of happening on a group of deer while snow-mobiling. Mating season, too:) It's breathtaking. Great picture. Hugs,
Sheila
At the heart of the eight compelling nonfiction stories and five-article appendix which make up Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah is this interesting question: What would your life mean if you were living someone else's dream of what it should be?
thanks for this -roseline
