Oh how it hurts to be betrayed, especially by a friend .
She thought they were friends
But it was so much more
It started when she walked
Through his door
He understood the hand she’d been dealt
A sympathetic shoulder, upon which
She could cry
A friend to the end, do or die
He was a man, yet a Teddy Bear
Made her laugh, and was glad to be there
They thought alike, this mismatched pair
The naive woman child and her Teddy Bear
And then they found their way
Into each other’s arms
He made her feel, she could no wrong
Wild, mad passion, on a hot summer’s night
Unbridled lust, not love, but a human touch
The beginning of the end
For the lady and the bear
For as it turned out, he was never really there
She thought she had a friend for life
But she had not planed on these cards she was dealt
She was just another notch in his ego’s belt
He had, after all, been just a man
A selfish nature and not even aware
That he had just thrown away
The most precious price that could be paid
He had lost a friend
He betrayed the lady, hurt her beyond repair
He was not a Teddy Bear, so sweet so cute
but a dog, in a Teddy Bear suit
