This poem was inspired as I looked back on all the things Father God Allah has brought me through in the year 2002
FATHER I STRETCH
Father I stretch my hands to you in my time of need, And I long to feel your healing touch as I yield upon my heart's knee, But first I want to thank you because I can see another day, That you have blessed me with even before I prayed, I want to thank you also for the blessings in my life, You have given me your Holy Breath to teach me wrong from right, You have blessed me with your word that directs my steps in every way, So now I am filled with your love and protection and to you Lord I can say, I praise and give you the glory for all that you have done, I thank you Father God Allah for salvation, From You it can only come, So much I want to say this day, My throat is filled with praise, But for now I lift my heart and soul to you, For I am so blessed is all I can say, Thank you Lord for saving me and keeping me in your sight, I thank you God for everything from morning unto the night, I love your tender mercies and your loving kindness too, Father I stretch my hands in praise and give all honor to you. Amen
