Life without direction is like moving without taking steps. In place going nowhere

Where do you turn,
When your road is going nowhere,
How do you proceed,
When the road has faded away,

Where is your direction,
Or did you even have one,
What course were you on,
Could you even see,

How do you go forward,
When the road filled with emptiness,
No signs to give direction,
Nothing there for you to see,

So where do you turn,
When all the roads look the same,
You have no direction,
You don't even have a name,

So how do you proceed,
When there's nothing there to guide you,
All you have is memories,
Of what you once did know,

You must try to get focused,
You must try to look ahead,
You must open up to something,
Turn to the visions in your head,

No dreams,
You'll go anywhere,
No visions,
You won't even care,
Without the two you have nothing,
So what in this life will you share,

It's like a vicious circle,
Around and around you go,
Nothing there to guide,
Like walking in the blinded snow,

But even in snow you see  footsteps,
That will lead you to some place,
Might not be where you want to go,
But you'll be back into life's race,

Life is a ongoing circle,
What you see has been done before,
But you can add your own style,
And step into a whole new door.

Where do you turn from nowhere,
How do you proceed,
It really quite simply done,
By starting on your knees.
