State of My Being
...a challenge by Amber

My "body" stage is not the best;
my good health runneth out at times,
but the spirit within welcomes
each challenge set before me,
and I continue to persevere.

I am a body and soul that was led
to the valley of death,
yet His staff helped me to rise again.
'Tho i shall not runneth, I shall walk
in gratitude for my every breath.

I have love and caring around me:
the greatest of life's cures.
I give love and caring:
the greatest of life's incentives.
My mind will not let me falter.

I am filled with positivity of Being
in mind, body, and soul...
and thankful for His treasures to me
on this 26th day of May, 2010.
