Hi ya...

Oh, Eileen...sweetie, where is you hiding...I know you are out there...are you under the big top! Which animal would you be...????

Laughter filled the air as the clown tossed his balls
For under the big top it was come ones and alls
Tonight was a show you were sure to truly enjoy
For today, the circus had a brand new animal toy.

A weak little elephant shackled sadly to a wagon
Painted pink with a green snarling Japanese dragon,
Lifted its head and let out a painful little whine
Cause the chains holding him were cutting him fine.

Small droplets, blood, dripped slowly down his leg
However, nobody would loosen him for the iron peg.
Yet the gaiety continued inside that old canvas tent
Cause now it was the lions the people did torment.

A Circus, a circus…. Come on in, watch our show
And never see what happens behind, you don’t know.
Penned animals with life spent chained or behind bars
But then don’t worry, cause people, we are the stars.
