Some poems seem to just appear from nowhere, this is one of them

Chasing the rainbow,
trying to catch the dream.
Following wherever it may go,
it is further than it seems.

Sometimes just out of reach,
somtimes far away.
Will it have the answer to all I seek,
If I find it one day ?

Following the sunlit path,
that always seems to change.
Something to seek beyond the wrath,
of people within darkness' range.

Searching for the rainbow,
in the land of dreams.
Looking for something as the world goes,
into chaos it seems.

Looking out for the dragons
hidden in the shadows.
Past cold steel wagons,
and the path the world goes.

Looking out for no one else,
Its what the world expects.
They all wonder to themselves,
why it is all a wreck.

They condemn the light,
and blindly stumble on.
Its not hard to do whats right,
and help someone else along.

Past the groups of blind men,
full of hipocrocy,
I follow the light that a rainbow sends,
and may catch it finally.

Should I catch the rainbow,
and bathe in its multiple lights,
I will let its lights then go,
to chase away the night.
