A Siren Song A narrow path, falling rock, shards of shale more marked than the darkness. Rushing water, side lies the road, belies the trail, steals my soul. Icy spray upon my face a bed of pine beneath my feet, the siren weeps. Bent in sway the river calls; I dip, I dive deep, beyond swimming, this release.

This IS about suicide... right? That last stanza seems to seal it so. You may enjoy my "Lord and Lady Shade" and "Nosferatu Aeterna".
