My poem "A Day....January 16, 1977....The Ducklings" is about a cold, cloudy, snowy, January day and out of the blue a flock of ducklings appeared, waddling along the front yards of a neighborhood street.
"A DAY....JANUARY 16, 1977....THE DUCKLINGS"
It was a Sunday
A cold, cloudy day
A typical winter's day
In the month of January
A light snow started falling
Out of the blue it was starting
A flock of white ducklings
Were in the front yards waddling
To watch this scene was so neat
As the ducklings waddled up the street
