I WILL BE ALONE
I will stay now; all alone it seems, in my world inside, built on broken dreams.
I choose this reluctantly; some would say forced; to be forever alone, broken, divorced.
I will love again, no never; I am sure; not ever in the way that I have come to know.
There will be no one let inside in that den; no, not one, will I ever again let in.
I will not give up the small part of my heart that is left beating;
To anyone, not anyone, to leave again, my heart still is fleeting.
I will be alone, and stay alone, although there has been many;
I have known, and I have loved, and I have served them all plenty.
I have been married, and bore children. I have been a Mother, and a daughter.
And now I have come to this road again, where my life says I ought to.
I will be alone, all alone, that is where I will stay, you will see.
It’s there where I belong, where no one else can ever hurt me.
I will be alone, and stay alone. It is where I will always be.
Because it is true , only the hue of love ever changes for me.
I will be alone; it is safe that way, for me and anyone else
Who might fool themselves into thinking and hoping,
That for me, love could be right, ripe, and growing.
I will be alone; it is my fate. It is clear and now I see.
I can be someone’s wife, and someone’s mother,
but I can’t always be just me.
I will be alone; it is the only way, my life can ever be,
where I can live, and co-exist with my reality.
I will be alone, because I am strong.
Some say too strong you see.
Because I can stand, and run, and walk, alone,
without others with me.
I will be alone, for they cannot stand,
the grit that makes me strong;
To fight for them, and win again,
the truth against all wrong.
I will be alone, because I am strong.
I will not let them see that I am just as scared, and just as frail,
As others that cling, and cry, and wail.
I will be alone, the difference is, I knew it from the start.
As a child, I knew it wild, the thought of a captured heart.
I will be alone again, I know, and so it is meant to be.
I have loved and lost, I have loved and lived,;
Now I must strengthen again, and to me, strength give.
I will be alone, but I will make it here.
I will not fall, that is crystal clear.
I have come too far to let life beat me.
I will carry on until it completely defeats me.
I will be alone, on the inside crushed; the strength I will find, I surely must.
For there is no one else I will love in this life.
I will never ever again become someone else’s wife.
There is no other way for me; we will be a family, now of three.

You are writing so much faster than we can read. Perhaps you can make your poems into a book?
Great endeavours!
