Yes, indeed I believe I have seen

A picture say a poem or tell a story

And make a difference to us all.

Fight to keep the arts in school, we must.

The internet makes it a small world indeed?

We stay separated while we commune

With each other with our fingertips

And the written word replaces a hug

Intensely experience people, we must.

Give up my kingdom for you?

Thinking, thinking hard.

Back when there were kingdoms

I suppose it meant an awful lot

To be willing to give one up.

Eager to give we are and should be.

Walk through fire to save you?

I have heard that somewhere before…

Thinking, thinking hard.

If you needed saving I believe I

Would be running through fire

Not walking, but I get the idea.

Resolute we should be for life, and we are.

Give the shirt off my back?

These days that would get me arrested

But if you needed something

I am quite sure I would try hard.

Creative in helping we are and should be.

There is a romance in generosity

And a rush in the thought of

Giving all for love of living

There is a timeless essence

In joining the days before bibles and kings

To today, and I think it is called humanity.

Embracing humanity we should and we do.
