Life is a Mystery

We are born innocent

crawling slowing—

learning how to stumble and fall.

As time passes we walk anew

fasting our pace—

running into our future nimble,

wishing for all things

we do not have.

Life’s natural pace ages us to maturity

with the understanding

       everything      evolves and revolves

around the sun, the moon and the stars,

constant with their brilliance,

distance and wonder.

Life, so simple…..

          so complex….

                   …. a wonderment

only few truly understand and appreciate.

Beautiful work as always, from a beautiful heart. Yes it's a mystery we may appreciate but I wonder do we ever fully understand it. So good to read you Tracey.

Our heroes are revealed for all they are, the final flash of a dying star, for with this pen I do they mar, with hopes I leave ‘em all a scar.
