A HEAD THAT ONE- SIZE-FITS-ALL, DOESN'T...
I have an Irish head,
A head that most would dread,
With ears stuck out on either side,
And hair that's thinly red!
The caps I buy to cover it
Are full of effusive claims to fit
To cover all with ease.
Except for a few like me,
Whose melons are odd and lumpy-like,
So how I envy thee...
Oh! Noble skulls and perfect chins
With loads of symmetry,
And noses Romane (not flaring out),
Oh, would that I be YE!
Alas my fate seems firmly cast,
From whom good looks have passed,
With bill reversed and slightly skewed
And far from a perfect last!
No fan club for this noggin sad,
This head whose genes are doubly bad,
That people love to tease!
I have an Irish head,
A head that most would dread,
With ears stuck out on either side,
And hair that thinly red.
So to hell with caps to wear on it
And screw the sloppy fit,
I'll go as balding as I please!

PS: A Pome by Henry Gibson
I usta too be muscle hung,
But now I'm just a trifle sprung,
My biceps have a negative slump
And are fallen down into my sump.
Ah, cruel youth you've flown the coop
And now life's all a bunch of poop.
A nice way of picking away at yourself before the bullies get to you. But just ask yourself, would you really want all of Robert's zits? Come to think of it, all of my girlfriends seemed to relish popping them. Still do.

My nose is certifiably flat.
I too despise wearing a cap,
So I'll go bald and be a cool cat.
I enjoyed your humorous write. We need to be able to make fun of ourselves. Write on.
