Introducing fibw more of my poetry structures

I would like to share with you five more of my original poetry structures . I hope that some of these structures that I am presenting will become a useful tool to help bring your poetry new depth and inspiration.
The first structure in this presentation is called the Pre-Phrase and engages the use of a particular phrase that will repeat throughout the poem in answer to each line . That phrase will also be the title of the poem itself .
My Example here of the Pre-Phrase (by Paul McCann) ) is entitled
Love Will Find A Way - By Paul McCann
Like when you've cried all night and day .
Love will find a way .
Like if they say to go away .
Love will find a way .
Like when we fight for what is right .
Love will find a way .
Like if you're heart is shut locked tight .
Love will find a way .
Like when you're hurt and on your knees .
Love will find a way .
Like when I say forgive me please .
Love will find a way .
The next structure here I’ve called Sense Wise (By Paul McCann)
This structure introduces the use of the different senses most of us humans have into the poem which is a good way of creating imagery in poetry writing.
My Example of that is
My Place - By Paul McCann
A place where we can feel .
A place where we can heal .
A place where we can see .
A place where we can be free .
A place we call our home .
A place that we can smell .
A place we say we own .
A place with taste as well .


The next structure is called The Jabber (Paul McCann)
In this structure there is a focus on the spoken presentation wit a view to rap , or hip talk or what ever the jive , in modern techno beat performance poetry . The term Jabber relates to that theme .

Slamming It - By Paul McCann
There’s no rest for a wicked and even less for the good
slaving to make a living for a little bit of food
space jamming all I can trying to be the business man .
beat on the street and at the door space jamming on the floor ,
I’m doing everything I can and what ever it takes
I’m running out of control and never once hit the brakes
And all my words start to jam but there’s no one gives a damn
that’s the way that it is , its all part of the music biz
I was walking down the street with my finger up my nose,
I was telling everybody hey this is how it goes.
Gimmie gimmie gimmie cause I'm a skinny looking dude ,
Yea ,I said gimmie gimmie gimmie some slam jamming food .
I was walking down the street and my fingers start to speak

Shimmie shimmie on my feet you see that’s the way it goes
my feet’s planted on the ground and my fingers up my nose
I’m slam jamming this and scanning the things that have been saved
You can’t stop me speaking or bury the truth in a grave
don’t clam me like some food dude or spread me out like jam
don’t put me down or hold me back and don’t waste my time man
poetry slamming it , keeps me jamming it my time
The next structure I’d like to share with you is called – One Word (Paul McCann)
Perhaps - By Paul McCann
Perhaps if I smile maybe you will too .
Perhaps in a while you'll fell like I do .
Perhaps if I cry my tears will run dry .
Perhaps we could try and see eye to eye .
Perhaps you might say I'll see things your way .
Perhaps for a change it will be ok .


In this One Word structure of poetry the same word repeats at the beginning of each line in the poem which is also the title of the poem


The last structure I would like to introduce you to in this presentation is called Four-Word (By Paul McCann)


Four-Word is a structure where the fourth word of each line in the poem make up the title of the poem .

Have You Heard Of Davy Jones

Some sinking ships have captains who must stay on board .
As lifeboats for you know in the sea are lowered .
Women and children heard someone shout - Land Ahoy .
As they thought of their loved ones grief and also joy.
For men like Davy fell in a watery grave ,
Others like Mrs Jones and all her kids were saved .


God Is Only Love

So many people God are waiting for you to give them a nod .
Dear God it is a long and narrow path that you and I have trod .
I have known only one thing and that is a you are a loving God.
Walking in his love and mercy is how I have come to know God.
