A rhymed poem about how my wife is the sunshine in my life.
On those days with clouds blocking the sunshine,
my mood grows dreary; I feel less than fine.
Such a gloomy day instantly brightens
should sunshine appear; all beauty heightens.
It’s likewise when my wife Linda is gone
for a whole day; it’s hard to carry on.
Loss of her warmth and companionship makes
the day darker; my mood suffers and breaks.
My happiness does with Linda entwine.
In my life Linda provides the sunshine.
You are very fortunate. And, I'm sure that she loved this poem of your devotion to her.
But there is a certain amount of dependence shown. The richest relationships are between those that actually standalone without the assistance of a "better half."
